Influence Of Manganese And Copper Doping On Structural And Optical Properties Of Chromium Oxide Nanoparticles

Mn and Cu-doped Cr2O3 nanoparticles were prepared by the co-precipitation method followed calcination at 400 0 C for 3h. These synthesized characterized Fourier Transform Infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), X-ray Diffraction (XRD), Scanning electron microscope (SEM), Energy-dispersive spectroscopy, UV/Visible spectroscopy. SEM images showed irregular nearly spherical structure of Undoped doped respectively. The particle size obtained exhibits in range 30-60 nm. diffraction study reveals temperature C, undoped exist crystalline phase Mn-doped amorphous phase. UV-Visible spectra have been used to determine band gap nanoparticles. optical value has calculated using Tauc’s Kubelka Munk method. Results indicate Kubelka-Munk is higher (4.7, 4.5 4.32 eV) than (4.18, 4.0, 3.96 eV). It also concluded decrease (in both method) was observed addition dopant.
